Rosie & Rudy

Rosie and Rudy are rescued rough-toothed dolphins found stranded (at different times & locations) off the Gulf Coast of Florida. Both of these friends suffer from hearing loss of unknown origin and are therefore unable to echolocate to hunt for their own food. Due to the lack of this necessary survival skill, the government deemed them non-releasable and they are now living their best life at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater, Florida.

Animals of this species require complex and costly care including husbandry or medical management, social, environmental, and mental & physical stimulation. The Do Like Raleigh Roo Foundation has provided funds to help supplement these care costs and provide them with the utmost quality care so they can continue to not only act as ambassadors for their species, but also create unlimited smiles with their sweet, silly, and sassy personalities!
