Polly

(previously Dara)

We met Polly (previously Dara) as a 1 1/2 year old adoptable pile of sweetness packed into a petite little dog. She has adapted to a nerve damage issue that hinders the proper function of her left front paw. Although she is still able to walk and utilize her leg, her adaptive gait is highly likely to cause increased strain, discomfort, and mobility issues in her future.

So we partnered with Compassion Kind Foundation & Ortho Paws Vet in raising funds to get her a custom carpal brace! This helps her remain balanced, improve mobility, prevent injury, and gives her an overall better quality of life.

. . .

Our hearts are so incredibly full from Polly’s story, as it embraces the full-circle mission of the Do Like Raleigh Roo Foundation. Polly has now forever put foster care in the past and is now thriving in her furever home with her new prosthetic and endless love.

Stay tuned on our social channels for final footage and updates on her unstoppable happy ending!
