Meet Ellis. Ellis is epileptic. Ellis also has copper storage disease, where an excess of copper accumulates in the liver, often and quickly leading to liver failure, especially when left untreated.

At only 2 years old, Ellis is lucky enough to have caught both of these life threatening challenges early on and with a family willing to go more than just one extra mile for her.

As you can imagine, managing Ellis’ conditions are both time & financially consuming with specialist appointments, vital medications, and unique prescription food adding up to nearly $1,000 a month.

As we all feel and fear today’s financial strains, we were able to connect with Ellis’ family and cover all her costs for August.

We’re grateful to be a small part of Ellis’ journey to help keep that adorable smile of hers alive. Despite her special needs, she is one happy pup and gee whiz, she is truly loved.
